About Chadds Ford PA

Things to Do in Chadds Ford

Chadds Ford is semi-rural community located 25 miles west of Philadelphia along the banks of the Brandywine Creek. Chadds Ford is a unique mix of rolling hills and expansive vistas juxtaposed against busy suburban communities to the south, east and north.

Chadds Ford was home to N.C. Wyeth, his son Andrew Wyeth, and grandson Jamie Wyeth. The Brandywine Battlefield (site of the Battle of Brandywine) is located in the township, along with the Brandywine River Museum, which houses much of the Wyeth collection.
